A dealer simply bolts Draw-Tite's one piece, welded trailer hitches to the vehicle's frame. The basis of Draw-Tite's continued success is that our trailer hitches are custom-fit for each vehicle. Soon, Draw-Tite became a symbol of craftsmanship in the towing industry. He built a trailer hitch for his car and, since he already had the name copyrighted, he called it a Draw-Tite. Fortunately, Bill was also an avid RV'er. Unfortunately, that was about the time residential clothes dryers became popular and there wasn't much call for the original Draw-Tite.
