With use, the sling becomes more malleable and the front sling button will hold the two pieces of leather together. Straight out of the box, because the sling is so rigid, the front sling button will not hold prope rly, and will keep popping off - to fix this, fold a crease in the sling at the front swivel to get rid of any outward resistance against the button.

At first it looked out of place on my series 1 Nagoya with its battle scars, scratches and dings. As it is a brand new sling, out of the box, it is very rigid and looks almost 'too' new. I have suggestions for future buyers of this sling so you get the most out of it.
